Treating penalty wins as draws
#1
I've just noticed that according to DFS Spain has an ongoing series of 12 consecutive wins in internationals (2 in 2007 and 10 in 2008). This is obviously not correct, because they drew with Italy with the Euro QF. But DFS treats matches won/lost on penalties as wins/losses, whereas the majority of statisticians treats them as draws.

For the same reason, the longest unbeaten run is shown in my db as France's between 1994 and June 1996 (27 games), while other sources do not consider the loss to Czech Republic on penalties at Euro 1996 and extend the series to 30 games, see for example http://www.footency.com/bdd2.php?tr=fr_eq_pyfrstats

So I think this relatively small change should be introduced to bring what the program shows in line with recognized records.
