Did you select all matchdays? Then click "Copy" and make sure that your time period allows the dates to be entered.
Then, when copying, enter the date of the first matchday of the second half of the season at the top, set the time to 00:00 and the days to 1.
Then select "Swap home rights" and most importantly, choose "Insert after the last matchday" (click the option below the two icons), and then click OK.
If a message appears saying the match date is outside the time period, confirm with "Yes" when asked if you want to copy the selected matchdays anyway.
For me, copying 17 matchdays for the second half of the season takes just about 10 seconds, no more.
