Depends on whether the substitution used up one of the three available ones. If not (which is likely), I'd say the injured player did not play in the match at all, since it has not started yet. It does not matter whether the injury happens five minutes or five seconds before the start of the game, if the referee allows a free substitution there is no apperance.
